Odíhg Tshiríhbùb (Tshiríh /bʊb/ [dove] [luxury]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Qähggÿlå Hold, Mebolodu Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Odíhg Tshiríhbùb is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Tshiríhbùb was founded by Alcelatus Carew, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Odíhg Tshiríhbùb has a yearly average temperature of 23°C (73°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Odíhg Tshiríhbùb receives an average of 66 cm/y (25 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Odíhg Tshiríhbùb covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 6174 m (20255 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Odíhg Tshiríhbùb was founded durring the late 16th century in winter of the year 1555, by Alcelatus Carew. The establishment of Odíhg Tshiríhbùb was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Odíhg Tshiríhbùb's construction back out of the project. Alcelatus Carew pushed on reguardles, and Odíhg Tshiríhbùb was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Odíhg Tshiríhbùb was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Tshiríhbùb is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Odíhg Tshiríhbùb is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt gravel streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Odíhg Tshiríhbùb's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. Odíhg Tshiríhbùb's top tier civilian fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

A look around Odíhg Tshiríhbùb gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Odíhg Tshiríhbùb makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had.

Odíhg Tshiríhbùb has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Odíhg Tshiríhbùb's natural decorations nor waterways.

Odíhg Tshiríhbùb has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Cultural Notes

Odíhg Tshiríhbùb's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.

In Odíhg Tshiríhbùb during thunderstorms, with each flash of lightning, everyone sees different monsters from the corner of their eyes.

The Begedhi, Seedling near Odíhg Tshiríhbùb are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Odíhg Tshiríhbùb's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves bloodletting to channel Abjuration energies of tier 3 via throat singing.

Any group or entity thought responsible for the collapse is likely to be treated very harshly, and some locals might find profit in shifting the blame to their enemies.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Kami spared the town a natural disaster. One of Odíhg Tshiríhbùb's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
